Why is there a build fee and a monthly fee?
The build fee covers the time it takes to design and build your website — the copy, layout, pages, and setup. The monthly fee covers everything needed to keep it running: hosting, SSL certificate, security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and support for minor changes. Most agencies charge far more for these separately.
What's the difference between Starter and Business?
Starter is a single-page site — clean, professional, and easy to find you. Business is a full 5-page website with individual service pages, a photo gallery, local SEO setup, and Google Business Profile configuration. If you want to rank in local Google searches, Business is the right choice.
Is there a contract I have to sign?
There's a minimum 3-month term after your site goes live — this covers the time invested in building it. After that, it's rolling monthly. Cancel with 30 days' written notice at any time. No long tie-ins, no penalty fees.
Can I upgrade from Starter to Business later?
Yes. If you start on Starter and decide you want the full Business setup, we can rebuild and upgrade your site. The difference in build cost applies and we'll quote you clearly before any work begins.
What does "minor content edits" mean in the monthly plan?
Things like updating your phone number, changing your service area, swapping a photo, or adding a line of text. It doesn't include adding new pages or significant redesign work — those are quoted separately. But day-to-day maintenance is covered.
Do I own the website?
You own all the content — your copy, your photos, your business information. The site is hosted on our infrastructure as part of the monthly plan. If you ever cancel, we'll provide you with the files so you can take your site elsewhere. No lock-in.
